"New Homeworking Interactive Guide"

The DISCATEL project launches the "Homeworing interactive guide"  


It is meant to be used by all companies and professionas. The new interactive guide about homeworking has been included in the section about social corporate responsability of the Association of Experts in Contact Centers in Spain. The registration is free:


By means of this new Guide the Association wishes to share its experiences and knowledge acquired since 2006 in relation to employment for handicapped people, using homework. The Guide is sponsored by the Real Patronato.   



The Discatel project aims to facilitate homeworking among companies, so that they can have handicapped people among their employees. Homeworking may seem difficult and non profitable at first, but serveral experiences with more than 14 contact center companies that have voluntariely joined the project proof that it is not difficult. There are not any technological impediments any more and, when done properly, homeworking turns out profitable socially and financially. Homeworking is alreayd a working style in many other countries, including in the contact center industry.



Grupo GSS, Spanish multinnational in the cotnact center industry signed an agreement with the Discatel project on May of last year. 


The Proyect DISCATEL's main goal is "to proof the technological and social viability of homeworking in the contact center by handicapped people".
